The youngster’s bag-carrying exploits have received praise from internet users who have lauded his independence.
A photograph of the back of the teenage boy, who was pushing a suitcase and carrying various belongings on his back while waiting for a train at an underground station in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, went viral on mainland social media, the Guangzhou Daily reported.
Internet users noticed that the slightly built boy layered the luggage and packed it tightly with ropes. The items on his back included a quilt, a mosquito tent, slippers, training shoes and several puffy plastic bags.
“I admire him. Can he share his packing techniques?” said one online observer.
Another person said: “He packed so many things with ropes. Even as an adult, I would not be able to do that.”
While a third said: “His packing skills are amazing. All that stuff did not fall along the way.”
According to the report, the boy, He Zirui, who is about 14 years old, is a Grade Two pupil at Guangzhou Whampoa Military Academy Memorial Middle School.
