The stamp, envelope and first day cover were designed by artist Krišs Salmanis, who incorporated composer Edgars M?kens' LNSO sound logo into the design.

The stamp will be available in 10,000 copies with a face value of €3.00, while the specially designed envelope will be issued in 500 copies.

"We appreciate the opportunity to be part of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra's centenary story. The stamp not only connects the past with the present, but also inspires future achievements. and both Latvijas Pasts and the orchestra carry the name of Latvia beyond our borders, differing only in the way they express it," said Andris Puri?š, member of the board of VAS "Latvijas pasts," congratulating the LNSO on its significant anniversary.

The new stamps will initially be available for purchase at customer service centres and post offices in major cities, as well as at the Latvijas Pasts e-shop. The first day of issue will take place on February 12 at the Congress Hall, K. Valdem?ra iela 5, Riga, from 12:00 to 16:00.
